/
  • Compact Disc (CD) + Digital Album

Julie and Dan's current project "Thy Holy Water' is now available for purchase and will be shipped as soon as they become available(release date: April 26, 2019). The CD contains fourteen original songs written and performed by Julie and Dan.

For this CD, they invited friends and family to contribute as well. Their children Kolton adds trumpet parts on "Living Heaven On Earth" and "Merciful God", and daughter Kiara adds harmonies on "Fall Asleep In Jesus", "Through the Eyes Of My Father", and "Yesterday's Pain". While great friend Melissa Gauderman adds her beautiful harmonies throughout the CD, and has a featured verse (3) on the song "Fall Asleep In Jesus."

Sister Kathy Kristof and friend of Kolton's, Erin Steebs, add harmonies to the beautiful waltz "Living Heaven On Earth" which debuts Julie's songwriting skills. Harmonies are also added by Marty Cheyka on "A Home In My Heart". Bass is added by Charlile Strong throughout the CD. Both Marty and Charlie are from the band The Whitehouse Players. Also appearing with his deep bass vocal on "Old Mill Creek" is Rich Beilke from The Living River Quartet.

From the band Copperbox, Danny Jerebek adds his button box on "Living Heaven On Earth", "Leave the Lord's House Rejoicing", and "Merciful God." While bandmate Dan Cable adds his great drums and cajón skills throughout the entire project.

We hope that you like the new CD. It was a joy to collaborate with all the folks listed above and create this new project. Thanks to Shelby Cheyka for her photo and graphic expertise and to Marty Cheyka from Whitehouse Studios for the engineering and production of this project.

about

The Old Mill restaurant in Pigeon Forge Tennessee is one of my favorite places to eat when our family goes to Dollywood. The beautiful stream that turns the gristmill associated with this establishment takes me back to the days when my brothers and I would hike down the railroad tracks to our favorite trout stream. Those were good times and these memories from my youth helped inspire this upbeat song. We also want to thank Rich Beilke from the Living River Quartet for adding his Bass vocals.

lyrics

Verse 1:
When I die won’t you bury me, Way own by the old creek bottom. Where the rapids sing a sweet melody, And the birds sing harmony

Verse 2:
For it is here I spent most my life. A place I’d go in times of sorrow. And it is here I was baptized. A place I feel close to my Lord

(Refrain)
So won’t you bury me, Near the place that I love to be. In the shadow of the willow trees. To see the branches dancing in the breeze. This is where I want to spend, All of my eternity. So please won’t you bury me, Near the banks of the old mill creek

Verse 3:
Please honor my last request, Never worry bout my destiny. And I’ll ensure that you’ll be blessed, by the mist of the old mill creek

(Refrain)
So won’t you bury me, Near the place that I love to be. In the shadow of the willow trees. To see the branches dancing in the breeze. This is where I want to spend, All of my eternity. So please won’t you bury me, Near the banks of the old mill creek

INSTRUMENTAL

(1/2 Refrain)
This is where I want to spend, All of my eternity. So please won’t you bury me, Near the banks of the old mill creek.
